Parenting Through the Phases

Your kid is changing every week! Just as you begin to figure them out, they shift or move on to a new rhythm, a new habit, and a new opinion. It can make the responsibility to shape a child’s faith and character feel overwhelming.  But it doesn’t have to. Parenting Through the Phases Small Group Study continues THIS Wednesday, at 7pm with practical application exercises.  Your children are encouraged to participate.

Experiencing God

Beginning Wednesday, March 6th, we are “Experiencing God” through a Bible Study with Pastor Kevin.  The evening will begin with a family meal at 6pm followed by the Bible Study for adults from 6:30 to 7:30.  There is King’s Kids for children Pre-K to 5th grade who will be working through the Kids version of “Experiencing God” as well and the nursery will be available upon request. Please let us know how many adult workbooks you will need by signing up in the lobby. The cost is $15 per book.

Coffee Hour

Our study of Romans continues THIS Thursday, February 21st at 10am. Come enjoy a light snack and good coffee as we fellowship around the Word of God.

Do You Have a Servant’s Heart?

Calling all Men and Women who have a servant’s heart… Sunshine Servants meeting Sat. March 2- 10:00am at Cornerstone (Light breakfast served). Come join the fellowship.

Open Basketball

Mondays 7-9pm there is open basketball for middle school and up in the FLC.   Come and get some exercise or just cheer the player on!

Red Cross Blood Drive

The Red Cross will do a blood drive here at Cornerstone Friday, March 15th from 3 to 7:30pm. Go to  enter our zip code (27028), click on Cornerstone Christian Church to sign up.

New Canaan Society of Davie

All men are invited to come to the Davie County New Canaan Society meeting this Thursday at Captain Galley Restaurant at 7am.  This is a Christian fellowship for men where men share their personal testimony and prayer.   For more information, see Chuck Bradford.

Monthly Mission Moment – Keri Fulp

Keri is serving as part of the Frontier Missions Team – the Cru church planting ministry in East Asia that is committed to engaging the 300 people groups who have little to no access to the Gospel.She will travel back to East Asia in May under a work Visa with plans to start her own business among the people – a working farm.  Cornerstone supports Keri and the Cru’s mission to see churches planted and multiplied in such a way that transforms communities and ignites in them a Missional mindset.
