Andrew’s Eagle Scout Project
This summer, Andrew Lovette will be working on his Eagle Scout project. He will be building wooden picnic tables to provide permanent outdoor seating for Cornerstone. These will be placed in the square area between the playground and the covered patio. If you feel led to donate to his project, there will be a collection bin on the back table next to the offering box. Cash, checks (payable to Amber Lovette), Venmo or PayPal info is on the bin. Thank you so much for supporting him and his project. He is excited to serve Cornerstone and all its community activities!
Attention VBS Volunteers (& Want-to-be Volunteers)
Plan to attend a VBS meeting / workday on Sunday, June 29th immediately after worship in the Children’s Church Room. This will be your chance to learn the flow and know your parts in our upcoming VBS scheduled for July 9-12th. Then on Sunday, July 6th, is our VBS setup day. Please invite your church friends to join us. The more the merrier and every hand is appreciated!
June Mission Highlight – House of Hope – Piedmont
A Christian-based nonprofit organization that helps teenage girls heal while also paving the way for a restoration of family relationships. Through their ministry, they can be instruments in God’s hands and reclaim the future for teenage girls going through difficult times and struggling to find a way forward. They work with teenage girls between the ages of 13 and 17 and help them overcome many of today’s destructive issues. Some of these include addictions, social media, depression, cutting, abuse, and much more. Cornerstone supports this ministry with quarterly donations and
New Canaan Society of Davie
All men are invited to come to the Davie County New Canaan Society meeting this Thursday at 7am at 801 Southern Kitchen. This is a Christian fellowship for men where men share their personal testimony and prayer. For more information, see Jay Abernethy.
Youth News – Wednesdays – 6:30pm
A Storehouse for Jesus needs includes (Urgent Need) for men’s shoes. They also need shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes and bar soap. As well as the continued need for Plastic Grocery Bags, Cereal, Saltine Crackers, Canned Meat, Canned Fruit, Canned Soup. Place your donations in the labeled bin next to the Lost and Found. A Storehouse for Jesus is also in need of volunteers. If you would like to be a part of this team, please contact them at 336-753-8081.

Join us for Sunday School at 9am offering the following classes:

- Theology Class (Room 102) Answering the hard questions from a Biblical perspect
- Get Connected – (Theater) Looking at life issues from a Biblical persp
- Soul Sisters – (Room 120) Women’s Support Group
For Youth – Middle School & High School In the Noiz Youth room #122
For Children – Grades K to 5th Resuming their journey through the Bible with the New Testament in room #109
Nursery available during Worship only (at 10am)
